
Position Summary
This position performs a variety of duties around the bakery including cashiering, doughnut finishing and general support of the baker.
Responsibilities:
- Prep and fry doughnuts
- Understands the importance of recipes.
- Recognizes the importance of time and temperature.
- Fries, frosts, and fills donuts.
- Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Able to run a cash register (point of sale)
- Able to close the entire bakery
- General cleaning as required
Other Responsibilities:
- Interacts positively with customers.
Qualifications
- Home kitchen baking experience
- Customer facing roll experience
Hours
- Typical working hours are 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, Tuesday to Saturday (40 hrs).
Pay and Benefits
- $14/hr based on experience
- PTO/sick days
Physical Requirements:
Most work stations involve standing walking and frequently lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasional activities include sitting; climbing or balancing; and stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
